The Shadows Have Landed - Infil

Guten abend Meinen Lieblings!

As promised, the real story of the Red Shadow deployment in Central Asia catalogued recently by Red Jimbo on actionforce.org. We got a tip off on Ascendancy and Chopper flew us straight in on a Herc, brought memories of Bagram 2001 straight back, HALO jump straight in and no sooner had we set up two OPs - Eagle, Stakeout, Sparrowhawk and my goodself, then the Shads appeared on board new helicopters. USMC design bureau must have been infiltrated, what can you expect these days...

Anyway, we had the usual kit so we were ready to impose peace through superior firepower if push came to shove. Hmm, have spent too long with Eagle and Stakeout in dugouts methinks.

Felt like having a bit of a rest this festive season - and it's been snowing here in Garmisch and must natürlich ski while I have the chance - so instead of a blow-by-blow account I myself called in a favour from a friendly fraulein in the AF operations' head shed on Ascendancy Island and thus you have a glimpse of the inner workings of SAS ops thrown in to the bargain. The denouement to follow once I get this verdammte blogger zwei working properly like a jimpy.

Frohe Festagen!
